Two arrested, charged following brawl - Rosemeadow

Two people have been arrested and charged after police were called in to break up a brawl at Rosemeadow, in Sydney’s south-west, overnight.
About 9.30pm yesterday (Friday 27 February), officers from Campbelltown Local Area Command responded to reports up to 50 people were fighting in Malcolm Way, Rosemeadow.
Upon arrival, police broke up a number of minor scuffles in a bid to restore order.
Police were forced to use capsicum spray to subdue a 17-year-old male youth who allegedly became aggressive towards them.
The teenager was arrested and taken to Campbelltown Police Station.
A 28-year-old man was also arrested and conveyed to Campbelltown Police Station after allegedly punching a male probationary constable to the nose and striking a male constable to the side of the head.
The man has been refused bail to appear in Parramatta Bail Court today charged with assaulting police (two counts), hindering police, resisting police and affray.
The teenager was charged with assaulting police, resisting arrest, using offensive language and affray and refused bail to appear in Parramatta Children’s Court today.
