Firearms and other items stolen from property - Mudgee

Police are investigating the theft of a large amount of goods, including six firearms, from a property in the states west.
The owners of the property, which is located about 20km south-west of Mudgee, have reported the disappearance of five rifles, an air rifle, a quad bike, two motor cycles, two fire fighting pumps, four Landcruiser rims and tyres, a slasher and a registered trailer.
The property, which is used as a weekend retreat, was uninhabited between Friday 20 February and Tuesday 24 February.
The estimated value of stolen property is more than $30,000.
Police established a crime scene and forensic examination will contribute to the ongoing investigation.
