Police issue comfit in relation to armed robbery – Warners Bay

Lake Macquarie Police are renewing their appeal for public assistance and are issuing a comfit image, in relation to an armed robbery at a Warners Bay service station earlier this month.
It is alleged about 10.15pm on Thursday, 8 January a man entered the King Street service station and approached the counter whilst pointing a knife at the store attendant.
It will be alleged the man made demands for the safe to be opened before fleeing the store with a sum of cash.
The man has been described to police as being between 165 and 170cm tall and of solid build. At the time of the incident he was wearing a black hooded jacket, a white cap, sunglasses and knee-length army camouflaged shorts.
