Police conduct inquiries into armed robbery at licensed club - Mayfield

Police are investigating an armed robbery at a licensed club north of Sydney last night.
About 9pm two males, one armed with a knife, entered the club on Crebert Street at Mayfield.
Officers were told the men threatened the staff with a knife, demanding cash. The men were given a quantity of cash before they fled the scene on foot.
No one was physically injured in the incident.
Police from Newcastle City Local Area Command established a crime scene and canvassed the area without success.
Investigators are now seeking public assistance to identify the two people involved.
Both men were of Aboriginal or Pacific Islander appearance. The first man is described as being around 17-years-old. At the time of the incident he was waring a white hooded jacket and black pants. The second man is described as being around 19-years-old, about 183cm tall and was also wearing a white hooded jacket.
